Distributed SIPFlow 2.0
User
Manual
Distributed SIPFlow, as its name implies, is a distributed application
which captures and displays SIP
(Session Initiation Protocol)
traffic in an intuitive graphical
format. Traffic is captured by SIPSniffers and then
displayed by Distributed SIPFlow Consoles which are connected to one or
more SIPSniffers. The distributed SIPFlow console allows users to not only view
the SIP traffic captured by the SIPSniffers, but also to be notified when certain
error responses are detected.
Before running Distributed SIPFlow please ensure the following software
dependencies are met. If they are not met, SIPFlow will not
operate correctly.
Software Dependencies:
- Windows -
Winpcap
3.1
- Linux - libpcap
(installed by default on most Linux distributions)
Please refer to the sections below for more information on operating
both the SIPSniffer and Console components of Distributed SIPFlow.
